There is no need to explain here that America has been number one in almost all the sectors and is going through a current slump. However, Vivek Wadhwa and many more Americans are fighting the cause of making America more competitive. Wadhwa is hated in certain circles; if you read his Washington Post articles you will be surprised that most of the readers who post comments dislike him; there are successful VC’s and entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley that despise him. Yet, he works tirelessly for America and Americans.
We should also tell you that Vivek was born and raised in India, studied in Australia and is now a US Citizen.
Can you imagine if Vivek was in India, working on helping the government streamlining its education infrastructure, strategizing how to make Indian engineers and organizations competitive, helping create an ecosystem for entrepreneurship and was involved in many more issues?

If Wadhwa is busy trying to increase the competitiveness of America, then why is America’s competitiveness dropping like a rock. In 1998 BEFORE we let all these faking fraud industrial spies into the US, the US HAD NO COMPETITION. India and China couldn’t compete with us because they did not have our technology and know-how. It is only since we have let millions of these people into US jobs so they could gain our skills and knowledge that the US is facing increased competition. Training and enabling your competititors is not a good way to stay competitive. To stay competitive, we need to train and enable OUR OWN people. We don’t need the help of these people, they need us, after all, from 1978-1998 IT was 99% white American males. We built IT, these other people didn’t. Wakjob – The entry of IT and knowledge workers into America is a direct result of globalization, a concept started and promoted by American MNC’s. Look around you and realize that a lot of jobs are going to newly landed immigrants simply because they are sometimes hungrier. And why does all the job creation always fall on Americans while the rest of the world sits around and does nothing? He seems to be mostly engaged in fraudulenty making a case of foreign visa worker programs like the H-1B which are used to throw qualified Americans out of their jobs because of the (often illegal) wage disparities that the visa programs cause. Most companies started by any young people fail. 90% of them fail. The bottom line is if you’re not qualified, or not able to start a company here and make it profitable, you don’t deserve to be here. USA is not a test bed for your dreams using OUR capital to entertain your whims. USA means business. You fail, you’re out.
If you are innovative, then name your innovations.
Millions of you have become US citizens since coming here. You’re allowed to start companies if you want. And the thrust of this article is arguing that we should let millions more of you in to start companies. If you can’t do it, then you’ve just proved this article is wrong.
I don’t want to hear excuses as to WHY you can’t innovate or start profitable companies – I want to see you either do it, or else get out. This article is arguing you CAN come here and start successful companies, not WHY you can CAN’T.
Anglos have given the world every good thing. Go down the list of modern inventions in the past 100 years. 95% of them came from anglos. You blame and entire race today for something 500 evil Brits supposedly did to you 200 years ago. What have you been doing for the past 200 years to recover from it? In a mere 1/2 that time we’ve given the world everything. Where did you get your air travel from? From us. How about the PC, internet, and IT jobs? From us. How about modern antibiotics? From us. How about railroads and cars? From us. How about telephones and TV? From us. You only look at one historical event and demonize us as Satan. You never look at all the good we’ve done for the world.
Get over it man. Stop projecting 200 years of ancient history into the present. No one is stopping you now from developing but yourselves.

Do you really think the American public does not know that it is being manipulated by India, Inc? Stop the lies. Wadhwa is obviously being paid by SOMEONE to shill – how else could he go from unknown reasearcher to media darling in less than a year if someone was not PAYING to secure those positions for him. He went from nobody unknown researcher to writing for BusinessWeek, WaPo, TED, and just about everyone else. That doesn’t happen unless there is some serious $ changing hands behind the scenes. India’s days of fooling and raping America are OVER. And yes, Steven Chu is also probably an industries spy – just as When Ho Lee had been sent to HK first to make it look like he wasn’t working for the CCP so that he could get into America’s weapons labs and steal our SS-88 warhead design. But I disagree with your list of failures. You seen to confusing correlation with causality. Saying that Indian involvement was the sole cause of these failures is stretching the line.
Well I lived and worked in writing software in Silicon Valley for 16 years. I saw what went on. I witnessed the failures first hand. I HAD the immigrant Chinese QA Manager sit me down in a conference room with the new arrival from India and had him look me right in the eye and say “Our goal is to EXTRACT your knowledge and give it to so and so here”. I’ve seen the companies INVADED, TAKEN OVER, and DESTROYED by these people. Correlation may not equal causality, but then again it might. And in this case it does. I saw it happen first hand – every single company these people touch eventually goes into decline or dies.

I had to leave CA after 19 years because faking frauds like you drove all the Americans out and ruined the place and collapsed the CA economy. Arabs did not invent electricity. It’s a natural phenomenon. Thomas Edison (a white American) invented the first commercially viable light bulb. The transistor, IC, and PC were all invented in USA by white Americans. White Europeans invented the printing press. English came from the Germanic langauges, not from Hindi. Besides that was probably 25,000 years ago. What have you done lately? What new industries have you invented to keep hundreds of millions employed worldwide, as we have? NONE. Every single modern industry and job you have today was first created by us.

the u.s. education system has only one aspect that is superior to that of india’s. the fact that it encourages thinking and understanding as opposed to just knowing more. indians know much more than americans and are harder working, yet the mentality required for the practical applicability of such knowledge isn’t that high per capita among indians.
the ease of doing business in india is also very low and original thought is discouraged. that is why the freedom of thought and of speech in u.s. is a great thing. the american work ethics (passed on through better maangement education and legal liability constraints through tort-law) also make the quality of work from the lesser knwoledgible u.s. american better than that of the more knowledgible indian in india but still lesser than the indian in u.s. who had become used to the american quality standards.

There is NO precedent in US and possibly human history that parallels the destruction millions of Indians have wreaked on the US. Certainly in US history there has been no destruction even remotely as large as what India has done to the US in just over a decade. You have nearly succeded in erasing 100 years of progress in just over 10 years. You have destroyed countless billions in wealth and valuable companies, ruined the biggest economic expansion in US history (1992-1998), destroyed the lives of at least 30 million Americans, brought the US economy to its knees, and destroyed nearly every valuable institution we had that created all this tech. There simply is no precedent in US history for the sheer scale and size of the Indian IT Griftology Racket in the US. None. There has never been a bigger or more damaging con perpetrated on the American people ever. Not in 520 years.

Why do you think InfoSys is being investigated for criminal visa fraud and tax evasion? They couldn’t get more H-1Bs so they switched to L-1s. When that fraud was shut down thy switched to B1s, which are illegal if the person works here.
